After extremely positive feedback for our first discussion in January, we move to our next panel and ask:
- The news has been filled with stories of adverse business conditions. We will delve a little deeper into the specific challenges faced by this panel and their clients. We will give particular attention to the following topics relevant to specific challenges faced by banks:
- How difficult was it to set up the PPP Program?
- What advice would you give this audience about the 2nd draw? What about taking a first draw now?
- Adaptation has always been a cornerstone of business success, but in 2020 we were told we must “pivot” in order to survive. We’ll discuss the course corrections that were required to keep up with the changing needs of your clients and the new offerings created by government programs available to businesses.
- Identify the sources and resources you relied on for information, assistance and guidance during the pandemic. We’ll also want you to discuss the challenges of getting information out to your client businesses, and consider the methods you found most successful.
- Hindsight is now literally 2020. We’ll examine the reactions and responses to the pandemic that you now feel could have been handled differently and examine what still needs to be done for your industry and ancillary businesses.
- We’ll also look forward to 2021 to determine how your marketing and other business strategies for the coming year have been changed by your experiences over the past 11 months.
